Sneak preview of your future tasks

In the Driving Functions domain, we build full UI software stack for the Instrument Cluster and the Heads-Up displays. Our diverse team of experts get to use the power of state-of-the-art 3D tools, and multiple coding languages to give the user a world class experience to world class features to their Mercedes-Benz cars.  

We are looking for an enthusiastic student who is open to learn, develop skills while contributing to our team. Your tasks will include but not limited to:

  • Setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of test hardware and test benches
  • Developing and executing test cases using our automation framework
  • Analyzing auto-generated test reports, logs and creating bug tickets
  • Flashing ECUs

Your Profile

Education:

  • Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field (Computer Science / Embedded Systems / Electrical Engineering / Vehicle Technology or a comparable field)

Experience: 

  • Initial experience with test environment and hardware
  • Good scripting Knowledge in Python and Automation Framework (Robot Framework)
  • Basic knowledge in hardware-software communication protocols (Ethernet, CAN etc.)
  • Basic experience with testing theory and test management tools (Jira, XRay etc.)

 
Nice to have:

  • Experience with infotainment systems
  • Knowledge on CI/CD and Jenkins
  • Prior internship or working student experience
  • Knowledge in agile methodologies

 
Personal skills:

  • Team-player having very good communication skills
  • Self-organized and highly collaborative
  • Open and outgoing personality
  • Flexible and can-do attitude
  • Continuous learning attitude

 
Language skills: 

  • Proficient in English. German is a plus.
