Your Mission

You will join a collaborative and agile team with a mixture of all experience levels, nationalities and genders. As a Expert Software engineer (all genders), you will be working on MBition’s Software Factory (SWF), a large-scaled developer enablement platform, which is the foundation for the car’s infotainment software among other electronic control units (ECUs) and related products that make up the software core of a Mercedes-Benz car. Our vision is to provide as much as possible self-services solution to unblock users in solving their problems on their own within Software Factory without the need for human intervention in the process. You will enable software developers to use the latest and greatest engineering practices to achieve the best developer experience. You will also have the opportunity to further develop yourself with a provided budget for education and shape your career within MBition.

Sneak preview of your future tasks

  • Defining and implementing or optimising existing workflows to better manage User Permission & Access Management 
  • Being part of an agile release train(SAFe framework) that focuses on automation of processes centering on user management which automates all the processes around the user management of the SoftwareFactory
  • Create Python or other high level programming language micro services for automation and have them highly available within AWS
  • Provide interfaces / API’s for the integrated usage of all the automations
  • Contribute to the user facing interface, which will be used for the self-services
  • Develop onboarding and automation tools which handle data from different sources, e.g. REST-API’s or databases
  • Contribute to the development of the working environment
  • Introduce, implement and scale permissions and permission schema to users needs while adhering to compliance and security standards

Your Profile

Experience

  • Education Degree in Computer Science Engineering, information technology or similar fields is nice but equivalent work experience is also fine Experience
  • Strong programming skills in Python or other high level programming language
  • Extensive experience with IAM protocols like OAuth/OpenID, SAML, SCIM
  • Several years of experience on principals of User Permission & Access Management according to RISE 2.0 standards
  • Several years of experience in building and maintaining IaC using Docker, Terraform or Serverless
  • Experience working with AWS
  • Several years of experience with agile methodologies and a rapid development cycle
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience in software architecture and design patterns
  • Experience in monitoring and alerting
