You are looking for a challenging but also interesting internship / working student position, that lets you dive deep into software verification, more specifically how it is automated. You are interested in furthering your knowledge of software design and architecture by helping us improve various test automation frameworks and libraries that will verify the quality of the software on different levels.

The test enablement team is looking for an intern / working student to support our software verification process by helping develop and maintain our test automation toolchain. 
Your responsibilities will involve:

  • Implement and maintain libraries and toolchains that support our test engineers and developers to run automated test cases
  • Help define the architecture of new libraries/improve the architecture of existing libraries
  • Develop an understanding of what our end users require our infrastructure to do, and translate that to code
  • Support our end users by analyzing bugs of the automation toolchain
  • Help your colleagues with the analysis of the test infrastructure and derive improvement recommendations
  • Write documentation describing new and existing code
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team collaborating with you to optimize our software testing process
  • Be a key player in our user-driven culture

Your Profile

Education

  • You continue your Bachelor or Master studies (or equivalent) in computer science, electronic engineering or a comparable relevant education or significant expertise that enables you to fill this role.

Must-Have:

  • Strong interest in embedded software/system testing, or test automation in general
  • Understanding of SOLID principles, or other software design principles
  • OOP experience. Python is preferred, but not mandatory

Nice to have

  • Experience in software development and/or testing from i.e. university projects
  • Experience in automating tasks (projects, or day-to-day work)
  • Experience or interest in: automotive diagnosis, networking, git, CI/CD
