Your Mission

Join MBition, a 100% subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz, and become an integral part of our SoftwareFactory team, driving impactful communication within the automotive software landscape. As a working student, you will support our Customer Success team in crafting clear, engaging, and strategic communication that enables our users and stakeholders to make the most of our software development platform for MB.OS (Mercedes-Benz Operating System).
Your contributions will directly support the Mercedes-Benz strategy of leading car software by informing and empowering our users through meaningful content and active engagement. In addition, you’ll help strengthen our agile journey by promoting best practices and fostering a connected, collaborative community within our Agile Release Train.

Sneak preview of your future tasks

As a Working Student in Communication for SoftwareFactory in the Customer Success Cluster, you will support communication efforts around SoftwareFactory and our Agile Release Train (SET ART) to inform, enable, and engage both internal and external users. Your role will involve:

  • Content Creation and Management: Assist in creating, refining, and distributing content across newsletters, intranet articles, and digital platforms to keep our users informed and engaged.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with teams, product managers, and other key stakeholders to gather insights and coordinate content that aligns with our communication objectives.
  • Communication Strategy Development: Support in evolving our communication strategy to maximize impact and engagement with our user community.
  • Feedback Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze user feedback to identify improvement areas and shape more effective communication approaches.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work across international teams to ensure seamless content alignment, share best practices and align communication efforts.

Your Profile

  • Current Student: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a natural ability to simplify complex information and create engaging content (very good level of English required; German is a plus).
  • Detail-Oriented and Organized: Skilled at managing multiple tasks, with a knack for staying organized and meeting deadlines.
  • User-Centric: Passionate about creating content that resonates with and empowers users; enthusiastic about fostering user engagement and clear communication.
  • Proactive and Collaborative: Works well in a team and is proactive in reaching out to stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.
  • Adaptable and Curious: Eager to learn and explore agile principles (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe), project management, and the role of communications in user engagement and customer success. Experience in these areas is a plus but not essential.
