Your Mission

This student job offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the maintenance of hardware and the meticulous analysis of manual tests, all within the dynamic field of automotive infotainment systems.
 You’ll be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and performance of critical hardware components, contributing directly to the quality of in-car technologies.
 
Your role will involve hands-on tasks related to hardware upkeep, troubleshooting, and preparing test environments. Additionally, you’ll develop analytical skills by performing detailed manual test analyses, identifying issues, and documenting findings to improve system functionality. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll receive valuable mentorship and gain insights into the intersection of hardware, software, and quality assurance in a leading automotive company. This position is perfect for students eager to apply their problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in a real-world, high-tech environment.

  • Flashing ECUs
  • Preparing HW and SW for stability testing activities for next generation in-car infotainment system

Your Profile

Education

  • You continue your master studies (or equivalent) in electronic/embedded engineering, automotive engineering, computer science or a comparable field
  • It is mandatory to be enrolled in a university for the whole duration of the employment/internship

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of testing workflow, e.g. creation of bugs
  • First experience in testing software and/or hardware testing, ideally embedded software
  • Experience with X-Ray or other Test Management tools
  • Scripting Knowledge in Python/C or C++ (CAPL is a plus)
  • Open-Source Background is a plus
  • Driving permission in Germany is a plus

Skills

  • Fluent English, German is a plus
