Your Mission

MBition, Mercedes–Benz is bringing the automotive industry into the future! How?
We are working on a software-defined architecture, that allows us to create state-of-the-art customer functions that span one or more domain controllers with significant processing power. One of these high-performance domain controllers is used for automated driving functions (e.g. automated driving on highways).

We do this in Berlin and Sindelfingen as a 100% subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG, which has been perfecting the art of moving people, products and services from A to B for more than 120 years.

About the role
You are joining a team which is responsible for the overall projects test plan; who defines the required test activities and ensures that the test activities can be executed with the existing infrastructure and environment.
As a working student, you will be supporting on further development of an automation tool running in our projects DevOps infrastructure assessing the quality of repositories and evaluating it against defined policies. 

Your Profile

Education

  • You continue your master studies (or equivalent) in electronic/embedded engineering, automotive engineering, computer science or a comparable field
  • It is mandatory to be enrolled in a university for the whole duration of the employment/internship

Experience

  • Comfortable working with Python
  •  Familiar with git
  • Previous experience in problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues

Nice to have

  • Previous experience with gitlab-CI, or Jenkins pipelines
  • Previous experience with Grafana
  • Quality-oriented: writing test cases for your scripts
  • Experience working with REST APIs, docker
  • You have experiences in agile software development projects
  • You have expertise in Software Development tools like UML and in software testing methodologies like ISTQB
