Your Mission
As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will become part of the team that connects the dots between engineering, business, and delivery to ensure our infotainment projects meet the high standards of Mercedes-Benz. You will coordinate input from Product and Function Owners, Development and Test Engineers, and assist in creating, maintaining, and aligning software requirements. This will enable us to effectively implement new features and accurately scope our testing efforts.
Sneak preview of your future tasks
- Support senior system engineers in creating, maintaining, and aligning software requirements derived from stakeholder inputs.
- Assist Product Owners, Project Managers, Development, and Verification Engineers in aligning feature functionality and clarifying any open points.
- Participate in the coordination of input from various stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Contribute to the documentation and reporting of project progress.
- Engage in the analysis and validation of system and/or software requirements to ensure they meet the necessary standards and specifications.
- Utilize tools such as DNG, JIRA, Confluence to track and manage requirements and project progress.
Your Profile
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Communication Technology, or a similar field.
- At least in the third year of studies.
- Solid understanding of programming and software development fundamentals.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++
- Basic knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile.
- Prior knowledge/awareness of V-model software development is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

- Aspiration to engineering excellence.
Language skills
- Proficient in English, German is a plus!
