(Senior) HR Generalist (all genders) – Bulgaria

Your Mission

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. As such, the role is pivotal in ensuring that HR operations aligns and adheres to internal policies, legal standards, and best practices, while supporting the continuous improvement of HR processes and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
The HR Generalist would typically interact with employees and mid-level management, addressing employee matters and concerns, and providing support across various HR areas.

Generalist HR function

  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Develop dashboards, reports and visualizations to present HR data and metrics clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in HR initiatives such as new hire orientation and onboarding, performance reviews, training programs and workshops, and employee engagement activities.
  • Participate in local and global HR projects, as needed.

HR Processes and Documentation

  • Develop, update, and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and HR manuals across various HR functions.
  • Stay involved in internal audit documentation and follow-ups. 
  • Partner with HR leadership to streamline and standardize HR processes.
  • Oversee or support HR projects focused on process optimization and policy implementation.

HR Governance 

  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws, regulations, and internal governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the payroll provider and the HR Operations Specialist to ensure payroll processing is in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Ensure standard work and service level agreements are followed.

Your Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification is a preference).
  • 5 years of progressive HR experience with good knowledge of HR best practices.
  • Experience in drafting and maintaining HR policies and procedural documentation.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellence in English language.
