Your Mission
As an Infrastructure Engineer for Atlassian toolchain (all genders) you will be working on MBition’s Software Factory (SWF) – a large-scale CI/CD environment used to develop the whole Infotainment Platform, the car’s Electronic Control Units and many other products, which together are the core of Mercedes-Benz cars. Software Factory is more than just a CI/CD environment. It provides standardization but is also flexible enough to cater to different needs. With the Software Factory, we continuously develop, integrate, deliver and deploy the mobility experience of the future to provide our end-users with a fabulous experience. Your role includes:
- Be a part of a distributed cross-country team
- Build, improve, automate and support Jira and Confluence (Data center based) cloud infrastructures in AWS
- Maintain and improve Jira and Confluence (Data center based) cluster tasks such as but not limited to: deploy, patch and upgrade, synchronize environments,monitoring and alerting and reacting to incidents, problems and changes
- Analyze and monitor important metrics of Jira and Confluence
- Establish and maintain integration of Jira and Confluence with other tools within Mercedes-Benz
- Provide advanced technical support for Jira and Confluence, handle incidents, problems, bugs and complex issues
- Scale the infrastructure to onboard new projects
- Analyze the developers needs to provide the best developer experience
Your Profile
Education
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering, information technology or similar fields is nice but equivalent work experience is also fine
Experience
- Experience with “Infrastructure as code” best practices using tools like Docker, Terraform or Kubernetes
- Proficiency with Linux as a development and target platform
- Comfortable working with scripting languages
- Experience in support like positions, understanding of different ITIL concepts like incident, problem, rood cause analysis, service request, change request and so on.
- Experience in installation and infrastructure configuration of Jira / Confluence
- Experience in troubleshooting Jira / Confluence in data center
- Hands-on experience in analyzing logs and service performance metrics
- Experience in the DevOps culture and cloud infrastructures (preferably AWS)
- Experience with agile methodologies and a rapid development cycle
Nice to have
- Cloud certifications
- Familiarity with open source licenses and/or being a contributor to open source projects

- Proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting technical issues
