Your Mission

As a Team Lead in Controlling, you will:

Sneak preview of your future tasks

  • Lead a team of experienced controllers.
  • Drive financial steering and controlling activities in close collaboration with other departmental leaders.
  • Develop and implement a KPI-driven steering model aligned with company strategy, including OKRs and dashboards.
  • Build strong collaboration models with key stakeholders to understand and meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure accurate budget planning, forecasting, and excellent project and departmental controlling.
  • Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) in coordination with RD Controlling and RD.
  • Oversee the Shared Service Center for controlling-related services.
  • Foster a high-performance team culture and embody MBition’s core values.

Your Profile

Education:

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Several years of experience as a team lead, preferably in financial controlling.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial and controlling instruments in the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record in strategic and operational controlling to meet product and financial KPIs.
  • Solid understanding of automotive product development processes and related financial challenges.
  • Ability to make data-driven financial decisions and present them confidently to senior management.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP R/3 and PowerBI.
  • Several years of experience in RD Controlling, preferably at Mercedes-Benz AG.
  • An existing network within FPR/R and RD is a plus.

  • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.

Language Skills

  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
