HR Specialist (maternity cover) – Bulgaria

Your Mission

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Specialist to join our team. As such, the role is pivotal in ensuring that HR operations aligns and adheres to internal policies, legal standards, and best practices, while supporting the continuous improvement of HR processes and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

The HR Specialist would typically interact with employees and mid-level management, addressing employee matters and concerns, and providing support across various HR areas.

Function will be reporting to Head of HR MBition Sofia 

Sneak preview of your future tasks

  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Oversee HR initiatives such as new hire orientation and onboarding, performance reviews, training programs and workshops, and employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure HR database is accurate and up to date across HR and payroll systems.
  • Update, and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and HR manuals.
  • Partner with HR leadership to streamline and standardize HR processes.
  • Perform administrative and support services to employees, and communicate with government officials as needed.
  • Oversee compliance of HR policies and practices with local labor laws, regulations, and internal governance frameworks.
  • Support and participate in internal and external audits related to HR processes, documentation, and compliance (e.g. HR audits, Corporate audits, QMS ISO 9001:2015 audits, Statutory audits).

  • Participate in local and global HR projects, as needed.
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks supporting the HR team, as required.

Your Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification is a preference).
  • At least 4 years of progressive HR experience with good understanding of HR best practices.
  • Experience in drafting and maintaining HR policies and procedural documentation.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
