Your Mission
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Controller to join our Finance Team. On this role you will be responsible for day-to-day controlling activities and take an active role in further development of controlling processes within the company. You will work closely with the leadership team, the local and headquarter finance team, and stakeholders across Mercedes-Benz Group.
- Develop and continuously improve the controlling function and processes
- Prepare business planning, budgets, forecasts, and business analyses (target vs. actual)
- Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports and presentations to management
- Take an active role in month-end closing activities
- Engage actively in internal and external audits
- Maintain risk management processes – identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations for decision-making
- Play a key role in the local transfer pricing process
- Contribute to the development and application of data-driven and AI-supported solutions in controlling
Your Profile
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in controlling or a similar finance role
- Strong experience in budgeting, planning, and reporting processes
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP/ERP and Power BI
- Experience or strong interest in applying data analytics and AI in finance/controlling is considered an advantage
- Fluent in English and Bulgarian (German is a plus)
