About the role 

In this position you will be working as a Software Engineer in an agile team in the base platform department, which is the basis for the applications running in the in vehicle infotainment system.



  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication Technology or a comparable qualification


  • Programming using C
  • Experience in developing and/or debugging native or virtual drivers
  • Hands on experience at writing/making changes to Linux kernel source code and device tree 
  • Hands on experience at writing/making changes to bootloader source code (e.g.  uboot)
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD (git, Jenkins, Jira)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Yocto
  • Experience with CMake
  • Experience with OSS
  • Hands on experience with hypervisor or other virtualized environment on embedded platform
  • Good understanding of API/ABI compatibility and experience in porting software to maintain it

  • Proficient in English. German is a plus
