We are working on a software-defined architecture, that allows us to create state-of-the-art customer functions that span one or more domain controllers with significant processing power. One of these high-performance domain controllers is used for automated driving functions (e.g. automated driving on highways).

We do this in Berlin and Sindelfingen as a 100% subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG, which has been perfecting the art of moving people, products and services from A to B for more than 120 years.

About the role

  • Establishing, developing, and leading a team of up to 10 Security & Privacy Experts
  • Setting the standards for Security & Privacy in the Product Life Cycle Process
  • Motivating Security by Design and Privacy by Default towards the Feature Teams in our agile SW development environment
  • Maintaining best relationships to internal and external stakeholders


Your Profile


Education

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication Technology or a comparable qualification

Experience 

  • More than three years of experience leading a development team
  • Certificate(s) in Automotive Security, HW Security, Embedded Security, Network Security, Privacy & Data Protection, Application Security, Cloud Security, Secure SW Development or a comparable qualification
  • Familiar with SW Development Processes (agile, iterative, waterfall)

Nice to have

  • Feature domain expertise knowledge such as embedded automotive functions, Connectivity, vehicle infotainment, navigation, artificial intelligence, etc.
  • Software architecture know how
  • Know How in at least one programming language, e.g. C/C++, Python, Java,...

Personal skills

  • Proficiency in problem solving and can-do attitude
  • Personal initiative, commitment, perseverance and resilience

Language skills

  • Proficient in English and German
