Our teams are developing a wide range of in-vehicle infotainment functions for Mercedes-Benz users with embedded, backend and mobile APP parts. You will be part of the agile development team, which is responsible to deliver the end2end-product. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality, stability and performance of the product. You will be part of the development team and collaborate on design, development and operation of a test automation system in an agile fashion.  
Test devices for the automation system can be are cars, test benches, mobile devices and mock systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for feature testing of an end2end-product
  • Creating test concepts and test plans for the whole product including embedded, cloud and mobile parts
  • Implementation, execution and documentation of test cases
  • Support different Test Activities like regression testing, System Testing and End of Line Testing and Vehicle Testing.
  • Support development team to reproduce bugs and verify bug fixes
    Education Profile
  • Degree in Technical Computer Science / Embedded Systems / Electrical Engineering / Vehicle Technology or a comparable field

Experience
Must Have: 

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Testing (Manual + Automation)
  • Solid understanding of testing SW systems in at least one field (embedded, backend or mobile)

Good to Have: 

  • Good knowledge of infotainment and telematics testing and test management tools
  • Scripting Knowledge in any of the below mentioned languages
  • Knowledge in CANoe and vehicle simulation

Added Advantage: 

  • Few years of experience working with agile teams (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) 
  • Few years of experience with test automation

Technical Skills

Good to Have: 

  • Good Scripting Knowledge in Python/C or C++, CAPL
  • Good Understanding in CAN, LIN, SomeIP, Ethernet, SPI, MOST Protocal
  • Knowledge in Automation Framework like Robot Framework, Squish, any Image Processing Technique

Added Advantage: 

  • Handson Experience in Jira, DOORS.
  • Drivers License for EU.
  • Knowledge on CI/CD and Jenkins.
