Your Mission
As a (Senior) System Engineer you will become part of the team that is connecting all the dots between engineering, business and delivery, ensuring that our infotainment projects meets the high standards of Mercedes-Benz on all levels. You will coordinate input from Product and Function Owners, Development and Test Engineers and will create, maintain and align requirements based on that. This will enable us to consistently plan and discuss our existing and upcoming features and also help us scope our testing efforts. You can be also working on the next step in the evolution of the human-machine-interface between a Mercedes and its passengers.
- Create requirements based on concepts and engineering input.
- Work hand in hand with engineers to create requirements – from the team, for the team.
- Support Product Owners, Project Managers, Development and Verification Engineers in aligning features functionality and clarifying any open points.
Your Profile
Education
- You have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication Technology, Vehicle Technology or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Experience in working with strongly formalized systems/languages
- Ability to put complex technical relationships into concise, clear and precise English
- Experience in Requirements management systems (DOORS, DNG, Polarion, Jama, Codebeamer, R4J)
- Experience in JIRA
- Strongly developed analytical ability
- Experience in working with Development and Verification Engineers
Nice to have
- Experience in automotive or software environment
- Understanding of embedded systems
- ASPICE experience
- Experience with CI/CD

- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Language skills
- Proficient in English, German is a plus!
