Senior CI/CD DevOps Engineer for MBition System Integration Department (all genders) - Berlin

Your Mission
You will work within the MBition System Integration Department. You will join a team of tech and automotive enthuiastic colleagues who are responsible to integrate and deliver the Infotainment Software System with highest quality standards and functionalit, in time.  

As DevOps Engineer in the MBition System Integration department you will bridge the way between our Embedded Software Development Engineers and the large-scale CI/CD platform offered by our colleagues from Software Factory. You will be transforming the needs of your developer, test and project colleagues into scripts that run in the CI/CD environment, to build, integrate and deliver their work for the next stages on the way into the vehicle, the production and to the customer.
Sneak preview of your future tasks
  • Develop and maintain the pipelines that integrate our code, using Jenkins pipeline templates or GitLab CI
  • Work closely with Embedded Software Developers and understanding their needs from the CI/CD environment
  • Collaborate with the Software Factory department to continually improve the platform, templates and overall performance
Your Profile
  • 2+ years experience in Embedded SW Development in Automotive or comparable industries
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD implementations, specifically with GitLab CI and Jenkins Pipelines
  • Experience with Linux as a development and target platform
  • Comfortable working with Python, Groovy, Bash etc
  • Familiar working in a DevOps environment, using containerization tools like Docker
  • Proficiency in problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Knowledge in agile methodologies and a rapid development cycle
Nice to have
  • Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Technology or similar fields
  • Build System Engineering / Linux Build System Knowledge
  • Quality-oriented: writing test cases for your scripts

  • Aspiration to engineering excellence and a desire to promote the DevOps culture and principles
  • Being a team player, open to give help and to also ask for help when needed
  • Willingness to take ownership of tasks and strive for the best solutions
Language skills
  • Proficient in English
