SI Department Senior Defect Management (all genders) - Berlin

Your Mission
At system integration domain we contribute to steering the large-scale project of more than 300 cross-functional distributed teams and manage their contributions to the overall product. As a Senior defect manager you help the teams to keep the bug numbers under control and contribute to the defect management processes in multiple projects while helping to automate as much of them as possible 
Your Profile
As senior defect manager in the team of senior experts, you will:
  • make sure that reported defects (bug tickets) are categorized, assigned and fixed in time;
  • you help a group of teams to keep their bug numbers under control;
  • you contribute to our defect management processes;
  • you automate as much of them as possible;
  • you take ownership of various topics;
  • you improve turnaround times.
Education:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication Technology or a comparable qualification
  • 5+ years of professional experience, knowledge of quality standards (ASPICE, ...)
  • Analytical skills (read logs, suggest changes)
  • Understanding of QA and test processes
  • Proficiency in problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Personal initiative, commitment, perseverance
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD
  • Knowledge of the AUTOSAR standards, the functional safety ISO 26262 and ISTQB is a plus
  • Well-developed communication and team work skills, even through tough situations
  • Good understanding of end customer needs
 
Experience:
  • Minimum one year of experience in an agile organization
  • Minimum of 3 years of knowledge in defect management of large-scale automotive projects
  • Understanding of agile and classic development processes and tools
  • Solid knowledge of Atlassian Jira and Confluence
  • Project management experience
  • High degree of expertise and technical understanding for complex IT projects and software architecture, preferably for automotive infotainment systems
  • Previous work experience of understanding technical documentation
  • Defect reporting and documenting in different rounds
  • Previous work experience working in cross functional teams
Nice to have
  • Experience in automotive and/or infotainment products
  • Software development skills (for example C++, Python, Java) and modern software development practices
  • Experience with large-scale Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale)
  • Understanding of challenges and constraints within automotive domain and processes
  • Multi-cultural work environment experience
