Your Mission
You will contribute to the development and integration of our first-in-class in-vehicle infotainment system MBUX - using various technologies, frameworks, and interfaces. You are part of the UI integration team which is responsible to bring the MBUX UI to the latest and greatest hardware. As UI team we are responsible that the UI runs on all HW variants therefore our team will get the new gadgets, e.g., the different peripherals, as screens and input devices, first and do the initial bring-up of that HW.
You and your team will be responsible for integrating the Qt-based MBUX UI into a Yocto-based Linux system. 
You will be coresponsible for the hardware and the target of the team. That means you will make sure that the embedded targets are flashed to the newest versions. You will also be responsible for the HW bring-up and document its configuration. You will verify the combined delivery of platform applications and UI - making sure that backend business logic implementation and UI frontends function correctly together.

•    Execute manual tests according to the test plan
•    Maintain test plan and test cases
•    Verify that test results on the bench are comparable to the car

Your Profile
•    Worked with embedded linux 
•    Worked with embedded HW
•    Passion for manual UI testing
•    Passion for linux hw bring up and debugging and all challenges associated with it
•    ssh / shell / linux / vi / git / adb
•    Common Software Development support tools: confluence / jira
•    Communication skills
•    Drivers license
Personal skills:
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Excellent coaching, facilitation, and training skills
  • Very good organizational skills
  • Assertiveness and a well-structured way of working
Language skills:
Proficient in English. German is a plus
