We are looking for a qualified colleague to join our Finance and Procurement team. As a procurement manager, you will independently set up a procurement department from scratch, which includes the development of all required procurement processes and the implementation of the necessary IT tools for the professional and policy-compliant processing of all arising requirements.
 
Insights into your future tasks
 

• Development of a procurement department including the necessary procurement processes from scratch, in close cooperation with other emerging functions (accounting, controlling, etc.)

 

• Direct participation in the product development process by helping to shape cross-functional collaboration

 

• You will be in contact and work close together with the Procurement department and other departments from MBition Berlin to further expand the MBition Sofia EOOD

 

• Supporting, assisting and consulting the departments in the entire purchasing process for a wide range of material groups, considering applicable Group guidelines, applicable local legal requirements and targets

 

• Independent preparation and execution of negotiations within a complex scope of work, if necessary with the involvement of the product departments and the legal department

 

• Identification, development and assessment of new suppliers, as well as strategic further development and consolidation of the supplier pool

 

• Preparation of contracts, purchase orders and financial statements with the help of the purchasing systems yet to be implemented

 

• Ensure timely award of contracts in compliance with strategic business objectives

Education
 

• You have a degree in economics or comparable qualification

 
Experience

• You have more than 5 years of work experience in a comparable position
• You have already successfully built a procurement department at a fast-growing company
• You have excellent IT skills in MS Office and ideally experience with ERP systems and Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence)
• You have in-depth knowledge of Bulgarian contract law

Languge Skills
 

• You are business fluent in Bulgarian (C1) and English (B2+), German is an advantage
