Your Mission
Our teams are developing a wide range of in-vehicle infotainment functions for Mercedes-Benz users with embedded, backend and mobile APP parts. You will be part of the agile development team, which is responsible to deliver the end2end-product. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality, stability and performance of the product. You will be part of the development team and collaborate on design, development and operation of a test automation system in an agile fashion.  

Test devices for the automation system are cars, test benches, mobile devices and mock systems.

Sneak preview of your future tasks

  • Responsible for the automation of embedded hardware setups as an end2end-product
  • Alignment with external hardware suppliers
  • Design, implementation and documentation of automation system as well as the operation during the life cycle.
  • Support in the health monitoring of the automation system
Your Profile
  • Degree in Technical Computer Science / Embedded Systems / Electrical Engineering / Vehicle Technology or a comparable field
  • Solid understanding of embedded systems
  • Solid knowledge in embedded C / C++
  • Few years of experience in building hardware for test automation
  • Few years of experience working with agile teams (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
  • Basic knowledge of infotainment and telematics systems
  • Basic knowledge in bus systems like Ethernet, FlexRay, CAN, LIN, SPI
  • Nice to have VHDL and Python knowledge
