DevOps Engineer for Mobile Apps (all genders) - Berlin

Your Mission
  • Become a key team member of our Mercedes me product team with direct daily collaboration with PO, developers, UI/UX designers and supporting functions
  • Take ownership of testing activities and represent the team to all our stakeholders in this regard
  • Create manual and automated test cases for Mercedes me Mobile Apps (Android and iOS)
  • Set up and maintain mobile device farms and a complex test environment of automotive test benches and cars
  • Support developers in creating and analysing bug reports and verify fixes
  • Fully integrate all testing and verification activities within our Scrum cycles
  • Create the infrastructure and criteria for the Production Team to shift to the next level, from Continuous Integration to Continuous Delivery
Your Profile

Education

  • Degree in Computer Science Engineering, information technology or similar fields is nice but equivalent work experience is also fine

Experience 

  • Extensive experience with CI systems like Jenkins
  • Extensive experience in Gradle for Android pipelines & Fastlane for iOS pipelines
  • Experience in transition from Continuous Integration to continuous delivery
  • Strong programming skills in at least one of the following languages: Java, Groovy or Python
  • Experience with Git & Docker
  • Experience in the DevOps culture 
  • Experience with agile methodologies and a rapid development cycle
  • Familiarity with simple concepts of Linux

Nice to have

  • Experience with different testing and code coverage frameworks and their implementation in CI system JUnit & SonarQube
  • Familiarity with open source licenses and/or being a contributor to open source projects
  • Experience in native mobile app development with iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin)
  • Open-Source Background
